Why Volunteer at the Hall?
For You: Serving as a volunteer is fun, helpful to your community, and an experience that you will never forget. Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet and work with sports celebrities and people from all over the world that come to visit the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
For Us: With volunteers’ efforts and dedication we can continue the growth and improvement of our Museum. We will have the ability to continue reaching out to the community in an attempt to maintain the high ideals and traditions of sports as a positive influence on the youth of our state, emphasizing sportsmanship, physical fitness and leadership that sports teach.
What Can I Do as a Volunteer?

What Benefits Will I Receive?
- Active volunteers will receive complimentary admission to the museum, a complimentary quarterly GSHF newsletter, as well as a 15% discount on all merchandise in the gift shop.
- Volunteer mileage to and from the museum is tax deductible.
- Guest passes will be earned for the number of hours served.
- All volunteers will be honored at an annual volunteer recognition event held at the Museum.
