GSHF Moves to the Beat with Paula East

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame introduces dancing as part of its “Steps for Life” wellness program. We have tapped into a local resource, The Middle Georgia Chapter #6059 of USA Dance. Working in tandem, the Sports Hall of Fame and The Middle Georgia Chapter #6059 of USA Dance have demonstrated and documented the art of Ballroom dancing as a valuable contributor to your personal health and well being.

Ron and Robin Sheffield, in association with The Middle Georgia Chapter #6059 of USA Dance documented information listed below on August 11, 2007. The documentation shows some of the benefits to ballroom dance as an exercise. The information below is a table showing the number of steps taken in a specific dance style for a specific length of time. The information was provided to us by Paula East, Dance Consultant for both Middle Georgia Chapter #6059 of USA Dance and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
